Dental health is a prominent subset of overall health, yet coverage remains bleak. Dental health plays a vital role in overall well-being and problems have been connected to heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, and even cancer. Finding an affordable dental package can be an arduous task, but it's not impossible. NO COST OPTIONS Most Medicare Advantage plans come with basic dental coverage (i.e., cleanings, exams, and x-rays) and have no co-pays or deductibles. Some plans include HMO or Delta Dental at $0 premium, with $0 co-pays! LOW COST OPTIONS A Delta Dental option is also available and can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Many PPO plans, for folks 65 or older, cost under $25/month. Delta Dental is not only the largest dental insurer in the country, there are also ZERO deductibles, financial maximums or co-pays. Some Medicare beneficiaries prefer to buy a stand-alone plan added to their original Medicare, some want a bundle of services. Adding options presents flexibility, no matter what your needs are. That is a good thing. Take a look at what is available to you today. Comments are closed.
